Just write for you, your publisher and your audience. Marketing and reviewing come later.
Creativity: Allot room in space and time for your imagination and your writing.
Fantasy blurbs: Know your audience. Then keep it short address world, main character/s, mission/danger/what needs to be overcome.
On writing: 'Easy reading is damn hard writing' - Nathaniel Hawthorne
So very true. You might be thinking I'm having a lovely time everyday but there are many stresses and problems to deal with. Like any art, its appreciation is subjective and creating it means bending to meet other people's expectations as much as creating to meet your own. Acceptance is never guaranteed, critics are harsh, time is precious yet it flies by and the money, well, you have to wait and see. Literally.
